The hotel was stylish and great. Everyone was attentive and reasonably good. There were central heating, TV, and a mini bar fridge in the room, liked that. A bath in the private bathroom was a plus. the location for Horten was peaceful and exceptionally nice, near town centre, former military base, and naval and photography museum. I randomly popped in Stallen Gallery and Cafe serving some pastries, located not too far away from the property, it was nice.

Although I only stayed at this hotel for transit purposes, I found two features of the provided database to be quite convenient. the hotel is located just 35 km away from the nearest airport, making it easily accessible for travelers. the hotel database mentioned that there is a second airport 17 km away, providing additional options for those arriving by air.

While Sjømilitære Samfund is a decent hotel for transit stays, there was one minor negative feature that I experienced. Unfortunately, the database's description of the hotel accurately reflected the lack of dining choices.

The rooms were comfy and incredible. the staff was absolutely kind. - the location in Horten was great, next to historical sites, a naval museum, a photography museum, and the town center. - the hotel is situated in a forest by the fjord side.
